The Two Face Masks You Actually Need

Correct me if I’m wrong, but finding an amazing face mask (or two) isn’t always the easiest thing to do. I mean there are hundreds and hundreds of face masks out there but which ones do you really need? I, along with many others, have found the two face masks you absolutely need in your collection! They are: the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask and the Summer Fridays Overtime Mask

You’ve probably seen pictures of these masks all over social media or at least have heard of the brand. But, in case you haven’t; here’s the scoop. Launched by social media influencers and bloggers, Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores, Summer Fridays is a beauty brand that’ll leave your skin feeling its absolute best! The first product to launch was the infamous Jet Lag Mask and then was followed by the Overtime Mask later on. So what makes these two so amazing? Well, that’s what I’m going to talk about today…

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

I literally can’t get enough of this mask to say the least. The Jet Lag Mask is a super hydrating mask that soothes and nourishes dry, dull and uneven textured skin. Jet Lag Mask is also suitable for all skin types including normal, oily, combination, dry and sensitive. With anti-oxidant rich hydration and ingredients such as chestnut extract, vitamin C, and green tea; it’s no wonder your skin feels fresh even after just one use!

Once my skin is cleansed and dried, I apply a thin layer all over my face including the under-eye areas. Although it says to leave on for 10 minutes, I usually let it go a bit longer. However, my favorite thing about this mask is that you can leave it on overnight so if I want that extra boost of hydration (usually I do if I’ve shaved that night), it’s the perfect way to get it.

Summer Fridays Overtime Mask

This mask has been my favorite mask to use if I want something I can wash off after applying. Unlike the Jet Lag Mask, the Overtime Mask cannot be left on overnight, but works just as amazing nonetheless. The Overtime Mask is an exfoliating and hydrating face mask to brighten your skin. This mask has pumpkin + vitamins A, K, and C to exfoliate and oat kernel protein which leaves the skin feeling soft and soothed.

I’ve been using this mask twice a week and it always leaves my skin feeling clean and looking brighter. Overtime Mask also smells like the best pumpkin dessert you’ve ever had! After washing off the mask, I’ll follow up with Jet Lag Mask to moisturize just as Summer Fridays recommends!

Well guys, there you go! I hope after reading today’s post you’ve learned more about these amazing masks. If you’ve been contemplating picking them up, I highly recommend you do so! For someone with really sensitive and dry skin, I don’t like every product but these two, especially when used together are the definition of ‘dynamic duo’!

If you’ve tried any of the Summer Fridays masks, let me know in the comments below! Or, if haven’t gotten them yet, which one would you like to try first?
